Nyingbulam-Ryu Jujitsu - A Goshin Jujutsu System

Nyingbulam - A Modern Jujitsu System

Nyingbulam is a Japanese based martial system formulated in modern times. It was influenced by traditional Nihon Jujutsu but also includes influences from other martial traditions. So it is correctly referred to as a Goshin (self defense) Jujitsu.
This is a Japanese based modern martial art system that utilizes a large variety of techniques in defense against an opponent.

Learn how to:
- Indentify a potential violent or aggressive situation prior to it happening

- Use of appropriate amount of force under Canadian Law.

- Personally protect yourself in a highly affective means
- Duo protection for care givers, Male & Female

Description
Nyingbulam Jujitsu system place emphasis on many areas such as, joint-locking, throwing, immobilizing/pinning, strangling techniques and pressure points. It also takes use of Atemi-Waza (striking techniques) using all eight limbs (hands, feet, elbows & knees), as well as ground fighting/grappling skills.

Students learn traditional jujitsu joint-locking techniques. That is, threatening a joint's integrity by placing pressure on it in a direction contrary to its normal function. Atemi (strikes) are used on vulnerable areas of the body to help create kuzushi (the art of breaking balance) or otherwise set-up the opponent for a lock, takedown or throw. Movements tend to capitalize on an attacker's momentum and openings in order to place a joint in a compromised position or to break balance as preparation for a takedown or throw. The defenders own body is positioned so as to take optimal advantage of the attacker's weaknesses while simultaneously presenting few openings or weaknesses of its own. Pressure points are then added to aid in the control of the attacker by
creating "pain compliance" as well as disrupting blood and ki flow to areas of the body.

Nyingbulam could be called a “Full Circle Jujitsu” because ALL areas of defense and offence are taught, from the standing to and the ground as well as weapons. But there is major emphasis given to finishing in a standing or /kneeling (on one knee) position.
This is because this is the safest position to be in due to the ability for rapid movement and escape.
